Jeremiah 31:4…You shall again be adorned with Tabrets.
Here we read in scripture a prophetic word about Tabrets. Abba Father is restoring the tabret to His worshiping Bride.
Tabrets are not new according to the scripture. Actually, tabret is an archaic word that has been replaced often times by translators with the words timbrel, tambourine and on rare occasions tabor. We need to understand that there is a distinction between these words because they are similar, yet different instruments.
Here are their similarities:
- each are round
- a percussion or drum like instrument
- adorned with ribbons, streamers, embellishments & tassels
- small enough to be hand held
- used for celebration & worship – Genesis 31:27 KLV [1st mention of Tabret]
