A quick overview of Proverbs 31:10-31 gives us the impression that this is a wealthy woman who manages household servants and runs multiple businesses. She makes her own decisions to purchase land, has sufficient significant social and civic achievements to be applauded, and chooses, out of her abundance, to bless those who are in need. She is a perfect candidate for Mrs South Africa!
This portion of scripture has been so misrepresented that many woman feel daunted by it, and most shy away from studying it. Or they share a guilty laugh before attempting to explain why they could never measure up to what this woman does.
I am asking you to set aside what you have been taught.
