🕎 Tselem Elohim — The Image of God

“Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness.’” — Genesis 1:26 NKJV

The Menorah has one central stem with six branches flowing from it — a picture of unity, fullness and divine life flowing from one source.

  1. ONE — The Source
The centre stem speaks of YHWH as the Source. Everything flows from Him, and everything returns to Him.

“For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things.” — Romans 11:36

  1. SIX — Humanity
Six branches can prophetically point toward man created on the sixth day (Genesis 1:26–31). Humanity was created to carry the image and likeness of Elohim — Tselem Elohim.
  2. SEVEN — Completion
Seven speaks of completion and fullness throughout Scripture. The Menorah therefore becomes a picture of humanity being brought into alignment with the fullness of what Elohim intended.
  3. THE LIGHT — His Image Revealed
The Menorah was made to give light (Exodus 25:37). Likewise, those who carry His image are called to reflect His light into darkness.

“You are the light of the world.” — Matthew 5:14

  1. THE OIL — Ruach HaKodesh
The lamps required oil. Prophetically, this points us toward the necessity of the Holy Spirit — we cannot shine by human strength alone.

“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit.” — Zechariah 4:6

  1. THE BRANCHES — Abiding in Him
The branches do not create their own life; they receive it from the source. Yeshua declares:

“I am the vine, you are the branches.” — John 15:5

  1. THE PICTURE — Becoming What We Were Created to Be
The ultimate prophetic message is not simply “look at the Menorah.” It is:

One Source. One Spirit. One Light. One people — reflecting the Image of Elohim.

Tselem Elohim is humanity restored to its original purpose: to carry His presence, reflect His character, walk in His light, and reveal His glory upon the earth.

“Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of YHWH is risen upon you.” — Isaiah 60:1 NKJV
