Scripture: Jeremiah 33

God speaks a second time to Jeremiah, while he is

imprisoned. He again confirms His covenant promises to Israel and said it is as certain as the

beginning of creation itself. He also confirms His promise to the families of

David and the Levites. God keeps his promises to the descendants of His faithful servants.

As long as day and night remain, these promises stand. There is no place for replacement theory in this promise. There are different promises to the

Church. This will be a testimony to all the nations of His goodness and His power.

Then Jerusalem will be my source of joy,

praise and honour. All the nations on earth

will hear about all the blessings that I will

give to Jerusalem. They will be afraid and

tremble because of all the prosperity that I

will provide for it. – Jeremiah 33:9

Tambourines or is it Timbrels? The first instance of the word Tambourine/Timbrel/Tabret used in scripture is found in: Genesis 31:27 why did you flee in secret and deceive me and not tell me? I would have sent you off with joy and singing to the music of tambourines and lyres.
